Our lives are ours to live
But let us choose to live for others
And not ourselves alone!
Let us work together in harmony
To make this world a better place
Let us not turn a blind eye
To the suffering and oppression of others!
Let us not pretend to be deaf
To the cries of hardships and hunger
To the cries of the sick and needy
And those who are oppressed and in bondage
But let us feed the hungry, clothe the naked,
Care for the sick and needy
Free those who are in bondage
And give hope to the hopeless!
In our concern for survival
Let us give everyone a chance to survive.
These are not impossible tasks
With time they can be accomplished
We have done great things
But can achieve even greater things
By living for others and not ourselves alone!
